The KynSHOT RB5000HP Recoil Buffer is a hydraulic buffer system specifically tailored for AR-15s with excessive gas pressure and 9mm Radial Delayed Blowback systems. Designed to fit Mil-Spec carbine buffer tubes with a 7" internal depth, this buffer can be combined with any type of buffer spring and serves as an easy drop-in replacement for existing systems on the market.
When a suppressor is used on an AR-15, it typically increases back pressure, leading to over-gassing that can negatively affect the shooter. The RB5000HP retains the core functionality of the RB5000 model while offering enhanced damping capabilities to manage the additional pressure caused by suppressors. It is also well-suited for large-caliber firearms like .50 Beowulf, .458 SOCOM, and .450 Bushmaster. While the standard RB5000 is compatible with these calibers and suppressed AR-15s, the RB5000HP is specifically designed for scenarios requiring extra damping.
With its advanced damping properties, the RB5000HP is an ideal choice for 9mm applications utilizing the proprietary CMMG Radial Delayed Blowback system. Users pairing the RB5000HP with a CMMG Radial Delayed Blowback Bolt Carrier Group should use a carbine-style buffer tube or the stock buffer tube supplied with their firearm. If using an A5 buffer tube with this system, the RB5007 or RB5015HD models are recommended instead.
The patented technology of KynSHOT buffers effectively absorbs the recoil impulse generated by the bolt carrier's rearward motion, eliminating bolt bounce during chambering. The RB5000HP reduces perceived recoil by 30%, significantly enhancing shooter accuracy and eliminating muzzle flip.
