LabRadar LX is a new, compact chronograph, using the latest technology and solutions, enabling the measurement of muzzle velocity for rifles, firearms, pistols, air guns, bows and crossbows. It operates at an impressive 60 GHz, and thanks to new algorithms, the device is smoother and easier to use.
LabRadar, drawing on many years of experience in defense and laboratory solutions, has created a new, portable measurement system for anyone who values precision in shooting. Despite its significantly smaller dimensions, it retains key advantages and top-tier measurement accuracy, proving that a compact size can indeed go hand-in-hand with professional functionality.
The new LabRadar LX operates at 60 GHz, resulting in impressive precision and stable readings. Thanks to proprietary algorithms, the device collects muzzle velocity data for various types of projectiles—ranging from subsonic, through transonic, all the way to hypersonic—in a simple and seamless manner. It excels at measuring the velocity of pellets from airguns, pistols, rifles, bows, crossbows, and even paintball markers. Moreover, it is unaffected by lighting conditions: it can be used in bright sunlight, at dusk, or indoors.
With shooters who value convenience and easy transport in mind, LabRadar LX comes in an ultra-compact housing measuring 63.5 mm × 69.85 mm × 69.85 mm and features an aluminum body that protects it from damage. The integrated battery greatly simplifies operation, eliminating the need for constant connection to an external power source. Thanks to an optional adapter, it can even be mounted directly on a rifle using the side RIS rail—an invaluable benefit for those who frequently move around or want to minimize the amount of equipment they carry.
One of the key features of LabRadar LX is its measurement accuracy of ±0.1%, placing it at the forefront of devices of this kind. Its impressive velocity range of 65 to 5000 fps lets you use it for slower projectiles from airguns or bows as well as for high-velocity ammunition.
While shooting, the device immediately displays data such as average, minimum, and maximum velocity, extreme spread (ES), and standard deviation (SD). It also includes a built-in IDPA/IPSC power factor and kinetic energy (Ke) calculator. The internal memory allows you to save your results for later review.
Thanks to its built-in Bluetooth module, you can pair LabRadar LX with a free mobile app. This app enables real-time viewing of results, management of saved shooting series, and firmware updates—ensuring even more robust features in the future.
Inside the LabRadar LX package, you will also find a USB charging cable and a tripod with extendable legs, allowing you to set up the chronograph in a convenient position right out of the box. The entire set is lightweight, handy, and doesn’t take up much space—ideal for taking to the shooting range, out in the field, or to a ballistic laboratory.
