Tasmanian Tiger Modular Tele Insert is a 19-piece modular insert designed to construct partitions that protect lenses, telephoto lenses and photographic equipment. The set includes modular walls with foam and polymer filling, and is designed for installation inside backpacks and bags with Velcro loop linings. It is made of Nylon 420 HD FD.

The Modular Padding Insert from the Tasmanian Tiger brand was developed primarily for the independent transformation of the TT Modular Pack 30 backpack into a fully photographic backpack, allowing for the safe transport of all camera models along with lenses and telephoto lenses, regardless of the prevailing travel conditions. The modular design of the entire set based on Velcro-attached compartments allows for the complete reconstruction and reorganization of the insert walls, adjusting the individual chambers in terms of dimensions and the desired capacity, thanks to which we can quickly adapt it to the shape and dimensions of the camera and lens models used. Wide reconfiguration possibilities correlated with the Velcro-based integration system will allow not only to adjust the insert depending on your needs, but also to install it inside any bag or backpack with a loop Velcro lining.

The Tasmanian Tiger Modular Tele Insert consists of 19 elements divided into 6 groups:

  1. The largest elements of the set are 3 large walls filled with a rigid insert made of two layers of light polymer. Two of them (measuring 35cm x 15cm, broken at 20 centimetres of the longer wall) are mirror images of each other and can serve as a stiffened cover for a telephoto lens chamber with maximum dimensions of up to 370 mm in length and 135 mm in diameter. The third rigid wall (measuring 26cm x 17cm) ideally fulfills the role of a lid protecting the lens from falling out. The first of the aforementioned walls have double mounting wings on one side (one-sided Velcro hook surface), adapted for installation on the surface of the rear wall of the backpack, and a smaller wing on the side edge of the shorter bend. The wall that is the lid on the lens has only two mounting wings (one-sided hard Velcro) on the shorter edges, allowing the lid to be attached to the side walls of the backpack interior (mounting wings are not included in the given dimensions of the walls). The outer surfaces of the walls (at the contact with the lenses) have areas of soft loop Velcro, which allows for the assembly of subsequent divisions on the wall space and protects the installed equipment against damage.

  2. The next modular elements of the set are 4 identical partition walls (13cm x 12cm) with soft cushioning foam filling. Each of them has three mounting wings, allowing you to attach the partitions to the walls of the backpack and the surfaces of each of the organizer walls used. The outer surfaces of the walls (at the contact with the lenses) have areas of soft loop Velcro, which allows you to mount subsequent partitions on the walls and protects the installed equipment from damage.

  3. The set also includes one partition wall with the same dimensions as the previously mentioned elements but equipped with large-area mounting wings, allowing it to be turned into something like a basket for a telephoto lens, adjustable in length (by mounting it as an extension of the rigid partition walls mentioned at the beginning). An addition to this organizer scale are two hard Velcro plugs, allowing you to secure half of the two mounting wings.

  4. The next element of the set is a wall with a soft filling (dimensions 12cm x 24cm) broken at 16 centimeters in length and equipped only with side mounting wings separated by a small distance in the area of ​​the bend. This wall also has double-sided soft Velcro fastenings useful for modular expansion and securing sensitive equipment.

  5. The set also includes 3 walls (11cm x 10cm) filled with cushioning foam but do not have mounting wings, only small strips with hard Velcro on one side. These cushions allow you to install them on the wall of a backpack or the wall of the organizer in question, thus creating additional cushioning or narrowing in places where the lens narrows.

  6. The last element of the set are two packages of elastic tapes of different lengths with Velcro fastening and contrasting handles that make tearing easier. One package contains 3 pieces of clamps with a 6 cm length of elastic band, the other contains 4 pieces of longer clamps with an 8 cm length of elastic band contained in them. The aforementioned tape packages can be used for a structure securing installed lenses, building an organizer for carrying all kinds of small accessories, batteries, memory cards, etc. or for the construction of handles that simplify the opening of individual sectors of the already configured insert filling the backpack.

The modular padding for backpacks and bags is made of Nylon 420 HD FD, which is resistant to wear and has an aesthetic matte finish.

The classic 420 den nylon material proves itself in the "High Density" (HD) version as a good base material that can be used flexibly. The 420 den thread provides high tensile strength, while the FD (Full-Dull) yarn gives the material a matte surface. The triple PU coating ensures water resistance.
