Tasmanian Tiger
The Tasmanian Tiger SR25 V MOLLE is a quick release buckle, compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system, allowing the quick installation of an additional buckle on the surface of a modular panel in a vertical orientation. Equipped with an adjustable male connector and a non-adjustable female connector with a lockable strap pass horizontally to the buckle. A set of two latches made of Acetal and Nylon.
The set includes two pieces of complete SR25 V MOLLE buckles (model: Molle Champion Clip by Woojin plastic®) made of extremely durable Acetal. They have openings for a 25-millimeter-wide webbing and are intended for mounting on the surface of equipment, both on MOLLE/PALS panels and on any free webbing. The female buckle connector has a surface mount design with a lockable strap pass allowing for installation in a vertical orientation on any piece of 25 millimeter wide tape. The fastened female clamp grommet has a nylon webbing handle, which significantly simplifies the unfastening of the connector and allows for quick change of the fastening location. The buckles are adjustable on one side (on the male connector side) and allow operation with one hand. The design of the male connector allows for the quick release of the clamp from inside the female connector. The product is made by the renowned Korean brand Woojin plastic®.
ACETAL. Composition: 100% Acetal
Acetal is a crystalline thermoplastic polymer material. Acetal characteristically has excellent tensile strength, stiffness, surface hardness and chemical resistance. Acetal has excellent flexural memory and property retention when subjected to repeated loading. The normal short-term use temperature range is -40°F to +270°F (-40°C to +132°C). Acetal is recommended for high performance applications and Tasmanian Tiger uses this material for buckles on backpacks. Physical properties remain consistent across a wide range of temperature, relative humidity, and weather conditions.
NYLON. Composition: 100% polyamide.
Extremely tear- and abrasion-resistant polyamide material, which, thanks to its dense weave, creates a compact fabric, ideal for the production of ropes, cords and tapes.
