Tasmanian Tiger Medic Transporter is a specialized assembly platform designed for transporting medical aid resources, consisting of 4 separate platforms connected with zippers. It has 8 removable pockets with vinyl visors, a dump bag, two large removable medical pouches, 4 welt pockets in the body and integration systems with vehicles, tents etc.

The Medical Transport Platform from Tasmanian Tiger consists of two pairs of mirror-identical mounting panels, integrated with YKK® spiral zippers, size 10. The upper panels differ slightly from the lower panels in the organization of the mounting space on the outer surface of the panels, but each of the 4 parts of the transporter may constitute a separate platform for organizing rescue resources. Each part has a handle reinforced with double-sided trim, located at the top of the outer surface, and two large through holes at the top corners, allowing the platform to be suspended on hooks or ropes. In addition to the zipper integration system that crosses the whole at the junction of each element, the platforms also have an integration system with quick-release fastex buckles made of durable acetal (model: Champion Buckle from Woojin plastic®), located on the back of each element at the top and bottom edges, which makes it possible to roll the whole thing into one large and narrow bag with equipment and use it as a long space with medical resources. The carrier, integrated into the whole via zippers, has dimensions of 105 x 53 x 15 cm, has additional flexible grommets on the outer edges (2 on each of the 4 panel parts), allowing for expanding the possibilities of integration with the spaces in which we want to place the carrier or suitable for mounting additional medical equipment. Thanks to the modular pockets included in the set, it allows you to freely organize medical assistance resources and maintain full readiness to provide the necessary medical assistance in changing operating conditions.

The platforms located on the outer surface of the transporter are different for the two upper parts and the two lower parts, with even slight differences.
The upper sections have PALS straps that start directly under the handle and provide three separate stations for the resource pockets. Each station has two rows of webbing in the MOLLE/PALS standard, separated by free space and having a width of 5 MOLLE/PALS anchor columns. Just below the last row of straps, there are three adjacent columns of elastic straps, each providing three anchor points for equipment.
The lower parts of the transporter have, directly under the handle, first three adjacent columns of elastic tape with two anchoring stations on each, and then an extensive and uniform platform of PALS belts with a width of 5 MOLLE/PALS anchor columns with 7 rows of tapes. Below the mounting panel, just like in the upper elements, there are three adjacent columns of elastic tape, each providing three anchor points for equipment.
On the back of each of the 4 mounting panels there is a large and flat slotted pocket, closed with Velcro on the hemline and equipped with a handle for easy operation with tactical gloves. Additionally, each of the discussed parts of the carrier has a separate assembly system, based on webbing straps along the side edges with quick-connect fastex buckles made of durable acetal (model: Champion Buckle from Woojin plastic®). The solution used in conjunction with the buckles on the upper and lower edges (mentioned earlier) allows the panels to be attached to various spaces or supporting platforms, while also being an additional anchoring point for larger equipment in the lower part of each platform (buckles on the straps and buckles in the anchor points between the panels are arranged alternately between male and female connectors, which even makes it possible to roll each part of the transporter into a separate roll with equipment fastened with buckles).

Moving on to the discussion of additional elements of the transporter, such as pockets and adapters, it should be noted that their location or appearance on the configured panel is completely arbitrary and depends on the individual needs or organization of the user's work thanks to the modular solutions used on each container and can be used as independent pockets included with any MOLLE/PALS compatible mounting platforms. Elements of additional transporter equipment differ in size and design and constitute several groups:

  • Single-chamber containers with dimensions of 23 x 12 x 13cm and a weight of 165g, the set includes 5 pieces.
  • Two-chamber containers with dimensions of 23 x 12 x 13cm and weight 205g, the set includes 3 pieces.
  • Large containers with dimensions of 23 x 23 x 13cm and weight 225g, the set includes 2 pieces.
  • The dump bag measures 33 x 25 x 4cm and weighs 95g, the set includes 1 piece.
  • MOLLE - Velcro adapters (soft) with an additional double-sided hard Velcro panel with dimensions of 23 x 12cm and a total weight of two elements 78g, the set includes 3 sets.
  • Information patches specifying the purpose of emergency resources in the amount of 10 pieces in English - 2x bleeding (BLEEDING), 2x respiratory tract (AIRWAY), 2x routes of drug administration (IV/IO), 2x breathing (BREATHING), 1x hypothermia (HYPOTHERMIA), 1x medicine (MEDICATION).

Single-compartment containers, in addition to the main compartment with a large capacity, also have an organizer made of elastic bands, placed horizontally in the middle of the rear wall of the interior. It consists of two layers of elastic tape sewn on top of each other, with the difference that the inner tape is 12 anchor points for smaller pieces of equipment and the outer tape is only two very capacious clamps with a volume symmetrical to each other. The dispenser compartment is closed with a two-way YKK® zipper with sliders equipped with handles for easy operation with gloves. The front wall of the tank has a large vinyl peephole, constituting half of its total space, giving a full view of the interior without having to open the tank. Below the large vision window there is an area of soft fleece, allowing the use of an information patch specifying the category of the rescue equipment installed inside. In the side sectors of the container, at the height of the beginning of the zipper, there are handles that allow you to simplify the closure, attach additional markings or equipment, or alternatively hang the pocket. On the rear wall of the container, there is a MOLLE/PALS compatible mounting system, based on three stiffened straps with snaps and a single row of PALS tape. The straps are spaced with gaps the width of one MOLLE column and require a width of 5 MOLLE/PALS columns to be fully attached.

Two-chamber containers have two separate cargo chambers with separate access to the interior, which are closed with double-sided zippers. In the chamber closer to the rear wall of the container, there is an organizer made of an identical elastic band as in the single-chamber container, while the pocket closer to the front is equipped with a front wall with a vision window allowing a view into the interior, as in the single-chamber container, and a patch of soft Velcro allowing for marking the contents. . The front pocket does not have an internal organizer. YKK® zippers and other body construction elements, including the mounting panel, are identical to single-chamber containers.

The design of large medical containers does not differ significantly from the structure of standard cargo containers, namely large, single-chamber containers fastened with double-sided zippers of the already mentioned YKK® brand with a relatively deep opening. They have two rows of the previously mentioned organizers made of elastic tape, placed symmetrically on the back, inner wall of the chamber (horizontally, one below the other). As in the previous containers, the places just below the locks have additional handles. The front wall of the discussed container has a soft Velcro near the top, and below there are 2 rows of PALS tape with 5 anchoring positions, allowing the attachment of the included dump bag or any additional container from the transporter set or from outside the included equipment, e.g. an additional holster for a tourniquet , another drop bag, an alternative medical container with additional equipment from the category included in this cargo. The assembly system of large containers is based on two longer and stiffened straps with press studs and two rows of PALS tape. The straps are placed on the external anchor points and require 5 MOLLE/PALS columns to be fully attached.

The dump bag included in the set does not differ in structure from standard recovery bags and can be used, for example, as a garbage bin for used elements of the rescue kit when providing assistance. The bag has a simple structure, it is not stiffened at the inlet or the body, it allows for its leveling to a significant extent, and has a drainage hole in the bottom. It is integrated via two straps with Velcro, which significantly facilitates its installation, and is closed via a strap with Velcro with permanently attached handles at the top of the strap and at the bottom of the soft Velcro on the body, which also significantly simplifies and speeds up its operation during use in dynamic actions.

MOLLE - Velcro surface adapters are mounted on two stiffened straps with snaps and a single row of PALS tape. The straps are placed on the external anchor points and require 5 MOLLE/PALS columns to be fully attached. The outer side of the adapter has a large area of soft Velcro, allowing the attachment of medical pouches based on Hook-and-Loop integration systems, e.g.: TT MEDIC POUCH SET VL (no.: 7566), TT MODULAR MEDIC INSERT 30 VL (no.: 7177). Additionally, each adapter comes with a large patch covered with hard Velcro on both sides, equipped with a handle that facilitates uninstallation and allows you to change the soft Velcro space into a hard one or for independent use, e.g. by connecting two spaces equipped with soft fleece.

The labels for marking the contents of the containers are in the form of Velcro blind tape with a yellow print.
They contain the terms and abbreviations in English:
BLEEDING - for equipment stopping the evacuation of blood from the body - dressings, tamponades, tourniquets, etc.
AIRWAY - for airway opening equipment - suction devices, tracheostomy set, intubation set, etc.
IV/IO - for injection equipment - the abbreviation defines the route of administration of the substance: IO - intraosseous - intraosseous route of drug supply, IV - intravenous - intravenous route of drug supply.
BREATHING - for equipment necessary to restore respiratory function - resuscitation mouthpieces, etc.
HYPOTHERMIA - for equipment that helps raise the body temperature and prevent further cooling
MEDICATION - to mark a container with medicines and active substances.

Two polyamide fabrics were used to make this very advanced medical transporter. For the construction of the outer covering of the carrier panels and the outer walls of the bodies of the attached pockets, the Cordura 700 DEN polyamide fabric was used, for which the Tasmanian Tiger brand is famous on the global tactical equipment market. A much nicer and more delicate polyamide fabric, Nylon 420 with a very high yarn density (HD), was used to make the dump bag, the outer surfaces of the large slotted pockets on each panel and the inner lining of each container (walls with sewn-in organizers and partition walls). All zippers used in the model are durable products from the renowned YKK® brand, and the acetal elements, characterized by extraordinary wear resistance, are products provided by the Woojin plastic® brand.
CORDURA® 700 DEN. Composition: 100% polyamide.
CORDURA® with a fiber thickness of 700 den is a combination of high wear and tear resistance of the classic 1000 den fabric with the lightness of a fabric with a fiber thickness of 500 den. This material is characterized by long-term stability and high abrasion and tear resistance.
NYLON 420 HD. Composition: 100% polyamide.
The classic 420 denier Nylon material has proven itself in the "high density" (HD) version as a good, very flexible base material. 420 denier yarn provides very high tear resistance. The material is waterproof thanks to a triple PU coating.
ACETAL. Composition: 100% acetal.
Acetal is a crystalline thermoplastic polymer material. Acetal is characterized by excellent tensile strength, stiffness, surface hardness and chemical resistance. Acetal is characterized by excellent bending memory and retaining properties under repeated loads. The normal temperature range for short-term use is -40°F to +270°F (-40°C to +132°C). Acetal is recommended for high-performance applications, and Tasmanian Tiger uses this material for backpack buckles. The physical properties remain unchanged over a wide range of temperatures, relative humidity and weather conditions.
VINYL. Composition: 100% polychloride
It is a soft plastic and serves as a transparent foil for the vision pockets.

NOTE: The equipment and medical supplies shown in the photos are intended to show the capabilities of the first aid kit and are not included with the carrier.
