The Tasmanian Tiger SGL Mag Pouch BEL HK417 MK3 is the third edition of a universal pouch for a rifle magazine for the HK417 (or similar in size), optimized for the 2024 season. Made of a three-layer wall structure of light and extremely durable 700D Cordura treated with IRR, compatible with with MOLLE/PALS modular systems.
The container consists of a single compartment for a rifle magazine, with a stable wall structure thanks to the use of three-layer polyamide fabric on almost the entire body (excluding the bottom) and funnel-shaped plastic stiffeners in the side walls. The pouch has a loop made of an elastic bungee cord, designed to secure and stabilize the installed magazine, equipped with a 3D-molded polymer handle that facilitates operation with gloves (the cord and the handle are removable). At the bottom of the pouch chamber, there is a large drainage hole made by laser cutting, allowing for the free evacuation of water and accumulated dirt. On the outer surface of the pouch, there is a laser-cut MOLLE/PALS platform, allowing for further expansion of the carried equipment (2 columns of 3 rows).
The container mounting system is based on a MOLLE reverse and two nylon straps with hardened ends and handles that simplify operation, compatible with MOLLE/PALS systems, so it can be successfully installed on any supporting platform of our equipment - backpack, belt or vest. The pocket requires the width of two MOLLE columns for installation.
The product is made of IRR-treated CORDURA® 700 DEN fabric and 420 DEN TPU Nylon.
CORDURA® 700 Den IRR treated. Composition: 100% polyamide.
CORDURA® with a fiber thickness of 700 den is a combination of high wear and tear resistance of the classic 1000 den fabric with the lightness of a fabric with a fiber thickness of 500 den. The material complies with Bundeswehr TL 8305-0278 standards and is characterized by long-term stability and high abrasion and tear resistance. The IRR-treated material meets the high standards of the German Bundeswehr TL 8305-0281 in terms of the IRR camouflage effect (IRR 650 - 1250nm / 10 - 42%).
420 DEN TPU Nylon. Composition: 100% polyamide
Extremely tear- and abrasion-resistant polyamide material which, thanks to the coating properties, can be processed with open edges.
