Maskpol TM-11 Protective Mat - MAPA B, manufactured by the Polish company Maskpol, is an insulating protective mat intended for adapting unfriendly terrain into a resting place. It is fully compatible with MOLLE/PALS modular systems. Product in a unique MAPA B camouflage.
The TM-11 Protective Mat is made of Cordura 560, it is a lightweight material, and at the same time very durable, resistant to abrasion, tearing and damage. To improve comfort and insulation from the ground, the mat has been filled with foam. This product will successfully help us create a resting place, regardless of the terrain and on what surface.
The mat has been equipped with a Velcro strap, thanks to which we can conveniently fold it and fasten it. The flap has been additionally supplemented with a handle that facilitates operation with gloves.
The mat mounting system is based on a laser-cut MOLLE panel with two straps, it is dedicated to installation on MOLLE/PALS platforms placed on tactical vests and backpacks. We will also install this product on the belt.
The MAPA camouflage was created by Maciej Dojlitko, a graduate and currently a researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, the author of, among others, publication Theory of visual message deconstruction. Military camouflage design tools (Gdańsk 2015). The innovative project, supported by convincing theoretical and experimental arguments, including computer analysis of thousands of photographs of the terrain, drew the attention of specialists and manufacturers of military clothing.
