MoG Abseil/Rappel Roping Gloves are specialized tactical rappelling gloves that have been specially designed in cooperation with the Group Rotary Wing (Royal Dutch Army) instructor group to provide maximum protection and comfort for operators during standard military operations.

Product Features:

  • Split leather on the inside provides excellent grip, protects against heat buildup during high-speed rope descents and offers extra cut protection (level D)
  • Special leather stitching on the fingers and in the crotch between the thumb and index finger.
  • The gloves provide basic heat protection and are certified according to EN407 - Contact Heat. (Level 1).
  • Additional padding on the palm guarantees high protection against friction and heat generation, allowing rope descents up to 90 feet.
  • Properly routed seams at strategic points provide greater dexterity.
  • Narrow fingertip design provides exceptionally high finger sensitivity when handling ropes, weapons, radios and equipment, and prevents the risk of twisted fingers.
  • Reinforcement of critical areas on/between the thumb and index finger, for added protection.
  • Depressions in key areas on the index finger and thumb for added flexibility.
  • The outer palm is made of 4-way stretch and quick-drying material for breathability and a comfortable fit.
  • Extra-wide cuff features an enlarged Velcro closure for easy on and off and a tight fit around the wrist
  • The inside of the cuff has a reinforced opening for easy attachment to a carabiner, belt or plate carrier
