The Blackhawk T-Series Level 2 Light Bearing Duty Holster is a full-size tactical holster for Glock pistols with a Streamlight TLR7/TLR8 flashlight mounted. It features three, independent retention mechanisms that must be intentionally deactivated to draw the weapon. This greatly reduces the risk of accidental firing and makes it difficult for unauthorized persons to quickly seize the weapon. Level 3 security holsters are therefore a versatile solution for people who need a reliable and secure way to carry their weapons, while still being able to react quickly in an emergency.
The T-Series holsters are made of durable, injection-molded polymer, which provides lightweight and comprehensive protection. In addition, the smooth interior finish, facilitates smooth draw and retraction of the weapon. The holster's full shell protects the entire lock and sighting instruments of the gun in harsh terrain and weather conditions.
Level 3 safety holsters are used both in the uniformed services and civilians with a gun permit. They are especially recommended for those who need an extra level of security in public places or while on duty. Therefore, to ensure speed and security, Blackhawk T-Series Level 3 holsters use both an adjustable passive retention, an additional thumb-activated retention lock and retention strap over back of slide. Operation of the locking lever is extremely intuitive, as all you have to do is grasp the pistol, and the natural placement of your thumb deactivates the lock, allowing you to smoothly and quickly draw the weapon. Additional safety is provided by the thumb release guards and proximity to the user's body.
The holster features a lowered T-Series™ Jacket Slot Belt Loop mount, a state-of-the-art solution for users of Blackhawk's injection-molded holsters that ensures comfort and safety. One of the key features of this mount is the thumb channel, which provides better clearance and makes it easier to use even when wearing gloves. As a result, even in harsh weather conditions or situations requiring quick response, the user can count on reliability and intuitive operation.
In addition, the mount is designed to fit belts up to 2.25 inches wide, which is the standard width of tactical and duty belts. This allows users to easily integrate the T-Series™ Jacket Slot Belt Loop
