Tasmanian Tiger Tac Pouch 13 SP is a specialized side pocket for first aid supplies, dedicated to the FR Move On MK II medical backpack (cat. number 7897) from the Tasmanian Tiger brand. Made of 700D Cordura and compatible with MOLLE/PALS systems, and equipped with an extensive interior with a well-thought-out organizer design and a wide range of independent modifications.
The pocket has the shape of a vertical, elongated cuboid with a capacity of 5 liters, containing a single cargo compartment fastened with a double YKK® zipper, allowing for almost complete opening of the front flap. On the outer space of the container, there is a wide area of soft fleece, allowing you to personalize the pocket or mark the installed equipment with patches. Below the loop space, there is a MOLLE/PALS carrying platform in a system of 3 columns in 4 rows of MOLLE straps and two length-adjustable straps, 18 millimeters wide, integrated with the body on the reverse, fastened with quick release buckles. The modular platform used allows you to freely expand your equipment with additional pockets and pouches compatible with the above-mentioned integration systems, and the straps integrated with the body, in addition to additional compression of the container, will allow you to carry additional equipment that exceeds the size of the pocket (orthopedic stabilizers, splints) and can serve as a limitation opening the unzipped pocket when moving between injured people, this eliminates the need to zip up the pocket each time in a situation of dynamic first aid.
The inside of the pocket is equipped with numerous accessories, namely:
- three pockets made of mesh fabric, trimmed with elastic trim, located on the inside of the front flap, one below the other;
- a large rope organizer located on the upper half of the rear inner wall, consisting of four double rows of flexible, adjustable bungee cords with clamps (each row has a separate pressure adjustment) in a system of two adjacent, separate columns for anchoring equipment, per each row;
- a set of elastic band grommets in a system of three rows of two grommets each, located in the lower half of the rear inner wall.
The interior of the pockets is also equipped with six fabric eyelets, symmetrically located in the lower part of the rear inner wall on the side edges, allowing for the independent construction of a carrying basket from a bungee cord, expansion of the upper cord organizer or anchoring additional equipment (additional bungee cords are not included). At the top of the inside of the pocket, there is a large plastic D-ring and two eyelets for attaching additional equipment or a hydration system (a fixed one made of paracord and an adjustable one made of Velcro tape). The pocket is equipped with a slot for the hydration tube on the upper wall of the tank.
The container mounting system is based on two fastened and stiffened straps, separated from each other by a single MOLLE column, therefore it requires the width of three MOLLE columns for installation. Even though the pocket is dedicated to the Tasmanian Tiger FR Move On MK II medical backpack (cat. number 7897) and was designed specifically for carrying additional medical equipment, as evidenced by the types of organizers used inside, thanks to the possibility of full adjustment and reconstruction of the interior based on bungee cords and the fact that the pocket is fully compatible with MOLLE/PALS systems, we can successfully install it on any supporting platform of our backpack and adapt the pouch for separate functions.
The product is made of Cordura with a fiber thickness of 700 Den. Composition 100% polyamide.
CORDURA® with a fiber thickness of 700 den is a combination of high wear and tear resistance of the classic 1000 den fabric with the lightness of a fabric with a fiber thickness of 500 den. This material is characterized by long-term stability and high abrasion and tear resistance.
