The mounting system is an adjustable lacing which provides a universal fit and excellent stability on the weapon's stock. The pouch has a leather hem for 4 rounds of ball ammunition and 3 rounds for shotgun. The additional hem allows comfortable support for the cheek when folding for a shot.
