5.11 XTU Tactical Pants are designed for top tier operators with a hard-wearing cotton, Cordura® nylon and elastane ripstop with no melt, no drip performance and a Teflon™ finish, the XTU Pant is loaded with end-user-driven features and functionality.
The pants are made entirely of high-quality 193.2 gsm Cordura® NYCO material, which does not melt when exposed to high temperatures (No melt, no drip), making the pants very resistant to mechanical damage. The well-thought-out cut of the trousers is designed to provide as much freedom of movement as possible while maintaining appropriate functionality. Therefore, special wedges made of flexible nylon fabric are used around the crotch and at the back, which ensures greater freedom of movement, especially during dynamic movements.
5.11 XTU pants have a number of extremely functional pockets that allow you to carry basic equipment. In addition to the classic hip pockets, there are spacious cargo pockets on the thighs with internal organizers, closed with YKK zippers. Thanks to this solution, the contents of the pocket are stabilized and protected against accidental falling out. Additionally, at the front, under the cargo pockets, there are ventilation openings that allow excess heat and moisture to be removed. Two small pockets, secured with zippers, are also located on the back of the pants.
The trousers have a wide waistband, fastened with a classic button and additionally secured with Velcro. There is Ortholite® foam in the back of the waistband, which improves comfort, ventilation and removal of excess moisture. Wide belt loops allow for stable use of belts up to 45 mm wide, with full equipment such as a holster or pouches.
An innovative solution in XTU pants is the knee protector system, patented by 5.11. It consists of a sewn-in Ortholite® layer, a replaceable inner 5.11 Force Foam® knee protector (available separately, part no. 56674) and an outer hard knee protector (available separately, no. 56675). The articulated design of the legs allows you to adjust both the height of the protectors and the circumference of the leg itself.
