The hybrid design of the backpack uses durable 500D Cordura and stretchy nylon material, which allows for comfortable carrying of ballistic plates, giving the user protection against bullets, shrapnel, etc. With functionality in mind, the Guardian Plate Carrier is a modular tactical vest that, on the one hand, serves as a carrier for ballistic plates, and on the other, it is trimmed with MOLLE straps, so it has many options for organizing equipment. An internal front pocket with Velcro fastening allows you to store small but important items. The front flaps are attached with FASTEX buckles covered with the main fabric, while a transport handle is placed on the back part.
The Plate Carrier Guardian version developed for the LE is equipped with two modular Guardian Cummerband side straps and a Guardian Kangaroo Flap front panel in which the Law Enforcement Insert organizer is attached with Velcro. It is a rectangular panel with four pockets for equipment necessary during patrol or other field activities. The panel consists of a pocket for handcuffs or a stun gun, two narrower pockets for a flashlight and/or pistol magazine and an adjustable pocket for a radio. At the bottom of the insert there is a flat pocket for documents, forms, etc.
