The Schrade Viper OTF 3rd Gen Folding Knife (SCHOTF3B) of the American manufacturer is a medium-sized spring knife, equipped with a stainless steel blade, dynamically emerging from the inside of the body, directly through the front wall of the handle base.
The Viper knife (SCHOTF3B) from Schrade is equipped with an almost 9-centimeter blade with a Spear Point profile, made of 4034 stainless steel, has flat cuts, finished with plain cutting edges. The blade of the knife has been painted black to eliminate light reflections and protect the steel from external factors. The knife blade is extracted from the handle by means of a slider, assisted by a spring, placed on the back of the handle and secured with a trigger lock. Retracting the blade in the body is done manually by releasing the blade lock and pulling the slider to its original position.
The handle of the Viper knife is made of aluminum with a gray finish, has a textured surface and numerous grooves on the edges, thanks to which the knife fits very well in the hand, does not move or slip during work. The handle is topped with a solid glass breaker placed in the head, it also has a tip-down pocket clip.
