The American-made Schrade Bedrock Sheepsfoot knife is a medium-sized Full Tang knife with a Sheepsfoot blade profile, designed for bushcraft activity. It has a plain cutting edge with a high hollow cut, made of 6-millimeter AUS-8 stainless steel, characterized by extraordinary resistance to damage. The entire blade is protected with a powder method, thanks to which the steel obtains additional protection against corrosion, and light reflections are reduced.
The knife has an ergonomic handle, made of a textured, flexible polymer, thanks to which the knife fits perfectly in the hand, and the textured surface of the handle cladding guarantees a secure grip even with a wet hand. The handle is equipped with a guard protecting the user against accidental slipping of the hand on the blade. Additional corrugations at the top of the back of the handle and on the back of the blade base allow for precise work, both by shortening the knife grip and by pressing the blade with the index finger or thumb. The handle has a hole in the head, intended for a wrist lanyard.
In the set with the knife, we get a hard, polymer sheath, adapted to carry the knife on a belt with a maximum width of 45 millimeters. The scabbard is equipped with an ferrocerium rod to generate ignition sparks and a sharpener, allowing you to restore the sharpness of the tool at any time.
