The Schrade Divergent Folding Knife (1182620) of American production is a medium-sized EDC folder, equipped with a double-sided Pivot Lock. The blade made of extremely durable AUS-8 high-carbon steel will certainly meet the tasks set.
The Divergent folder from Schrade has a blade with a modified Drop Point profile, hollow cut and a plain edge, made of AUS-8 carbon steel with a satin finish. The knife has a double-sided Pivot Lock spring, protecting against unintentional folding of the knife during operation. The knife opens with a vigorous movement of the wrist while releasing the lock, the opening is very dynamic, thanks to the ball bearings in the mechanism of the knife. You can also use the double-sided stud at the base of the blade or the nail slot along the back of the blade to open the knife.
The knife handle is made of G10 polymer, characterized by high resistance to weather conditions and mechanical damage. The linings have a textured surface, thanks to which the knife lies securely in the hand and does not slip even in adverse weather conditions. The whole structure is finished with a carrying clip and an eyelet for rewinding the safety leash on the wrist.
