The Schrade Fanatic Folding Knife (1182621) of American production is a medium-sized, classic EDC folder made of high-carbon AUS-8 stainless steel, supplemented with G10 epoxy-glass laminate linings.
The Clip Point-shaped blade is made of AUS-8 high-carbon stainless steel, finished with black oxide, has a hollow grind, finished with a plain cutting edge. The blade of the knife is extracted from the handle using a double-sided stud at the base of the blade or a convenient flipper mounted on ball bearings, thanks to which the knife opens extremely dynamically. The flipper, after opening the knife, is a prominent crossguard, protecting against accidental slipping of the hand onto the blade. The knife is equipped with a Liner Lock, preventing the knife from folding during operation.
The ergonomic handle of the knife is made of G10 material, characterized by high resistance to weather conditions and mechanical damage. The linings have a textured surface, thanks to which the knife lies securely in the hand and does not slip even in adverse weather conditions. The whole structure is finished with a carrying clip and an eyelet for rewinding the safety leash on the wrist.
