The Schrade Kinetic Folding Knife (1182623) of American production is a medium-sized, ultra-light, classic EDC folder made of high-carbon AUS-8 stainless steel, supplemented with G10 epoxy-glass laminate linings.
The Drop Point blade, very similar to Spear Point, is made of high-carbon AUS-8 stainless steel, finished with titanium nitride, has a hollow cut, finished with a plain cutting edge. The knife blade is extracted from the handle with a convenient flipper mounted on ball bearings, thanks to which the knife opens extremely dynamically. The flipper, after opening the knife, is a prominent crossguard, protecting against accidental slipping of the hand onto the blade. The knife is equipped with a Liner Lock, preventing the knife from folding during operation.
The ergonomic handle of the knife is made of G10 material, characterized by high resistance to weather conditions and mechanical damage. The linings have a textured surface, thanks to which the knife lies securely in the hand and does not slip even in adverse weather conditions. The whole structure is finished with a clip for carrying in a pocket.
