RealHunter Active ProSHOT BT is a new generation of active hearing protectors with an SNR attenuation value of 27 dB, which uses a Bluetooth module and a 3.5 mm minijack port allowing for telephone calls, listening to music and connecting additional devices.
RealHunter Active ProSHOT BT are low-profile protectors with a clearly cut lower part of the shell. This design ensures a comfortable position when shooting with long weapons and gives the protectors a modern style. Wide, replaceable pillows isolate noise very well, are pleasant to the skin, and are easy to keep clean. The profiled headband with a padded pad evenly distributes pressure on the head, so the protectors can be worn for a long time without feeling unpleasant pressure. The foldable structure makes it easy to adjust the protectors to the size of your head and fold them for transport.
Active hearing protectors have built-in omnidirectional microphones that transmit clear, amplified sound to the wearer's ear. Therefore, when wearing RealHunter Active ProSHOT protectors, we not only hear better and more clearly, we can also communicate comfortably with other shooters without having to take off the headphones or raise our voices.
After exceeding the safe level of 82 dB, the active electronic system automatically turns off the microphones in just 0.01 s! When the microphones are turned off, the protectors provide 22 dB NRR passive protection. The Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) measures how many decibels a muffler reduces hazardous sound. The muffs effectively protect against impulse noise while ensuring clear and clear hearing of ambient sounds.
RealHunter Active ProSHOT also allows you to smoothly adjust the volume of heard sounds and conversations, depending on your needs and situations. A large, grooved volume/switch knob allows for comfortable operation of the headphones while wearing shooting gloves.
The protectors are powered by two popular and easily accessible AAA batteries (installed in one shell), which ensure long operation. The average operating time is about 200 hours and depends on the volume level, the use of the Bluetooth module, the intensity of shooting and the air temperature.
RealHunter Active ProSHOT BT has a standard 3.5 mm minijack port (cable included), thanks to which we can connect external audio devices (for listening to music) or PMR radio (communication) to the protectors.
The element that distinguishes RealHunter Active ProSHOT BT from other protectors in this price range is, of course, the Bluetooth module. The use of a wireless communication protocol ensures, among others, support for necessary telephone functions:
- receiving a call
- call rejection
- ending the call
- call transfer (call waiting)
- selecting the last number.
A separate button located above the main knob is used to operate Bluetooth communication and pairing functions. RealHunter Active ProSHOT BT, in addition to the main ambient volume control, also offers the ability to separately change the call volume.
Two-channel sound intensity control increases the comfort of communication and allows for better isolation when talking in a noisy environment.
