Taking another quantum leap forward, the latest version of the Spyderco Tenacious Lightweight proudly features American-made CPM S35VN blade steel. This advanced particle metallurgy stainless steel supercharges this workhorse folder and sets a new standard in affordable high performance.
The knife has a Drop Point-shaped blade is made of S35VN steel. This is an improved version of the classic S35V, which has been used in premium products of the best knife brands for many years. The addition of niobium makes the steel noticeably more durable and equally resistant to wear, which translates into better sharpness and resistance to rusting. The blade also has a characteristic Spyder Hole, which, in addition to its aesthetic value, allows the knife to be easily opened with one hand. On opening, the blade is secured with a Back Lock with a Boye Dent cutout to prevent accidental release.
The handles are made of light and durable nylon FRN polymer, which thanks to the two-way texture provides a good grip when operating the knife. The handle has a metal clip for convenient carrying in a pocket or belt. The clip can be attached in four different configurations. At the end of the handle, there is also a hole for a safety rope.
