The Pilgrim anorak jacket and pants are the flagship clothing set from the Helikon Bushcraft line, which was created in response to the needs of all camping and survival enthusiasts. To meet the high requirements for this type of clothing, all the design solutions of both Pilgrim trousers and anorak were designed by experienced instructors from Survivaltech who are specialists in the field of bushcraft and survival.
The Pilgrim jacket is made of Duracanvas material, which is valued for its high resistance to mechanical damage. This material can be impregnated with wax and thus improved its water resistance. Also, compared to softshell materials, Duracanvas is much better at handling sparks that are ubiquitous during field trips.
Helikon Pilgrim is based on the classic anorak cut, but modern solutions and design gives the jacket not only a unique look, but also functionality. The main advantage of the extended anorak cut is the lack of a full-length zip at the front, because it significantly improves wind protection. Also, the high collar and large functional hood perfectly protect against wind, rain or snow. However, to be able to regulate the temperature, special ventilation openings are placed under the armpits, which will allow the excess heat generated during the march to be removed. The cuffs can be adjusted with a comfortable Velcro.
The Pilgrim Anorak jacket has a number of roomy and functional pockets. On the chest there are four pockets, two Napoleonic and two large, oblique, fastened with Canadian buttons. In the lower part there is a large through pocket lined from the outside with warm fleece for additional hand protection against cold. On the shoulders there are two additional pockets with zippers, perfect for smaller equipment.
