Condor Bushglider is a medium-sized knife produced by the famous brand from El Salvador. The manufacturer is famous for making simple, well-thought-out tools dedicated to the broadly understood outdoor activity. Condor knives often refer to classic bushcraft constructions with their unique simplicity and austere style. It is similar in the case of the Bushglider model, which is supposed to be a cheap knife with a fixed blade, available to a wide range of customers.
The blade was made of the valued 1095 carbon steel. The popular material is characterized by great cutting aggression and high resistance to cracks, abrasion and all kinds of mechanical damage. However, this steel is relatively susceptible to corrosion. For additional protection of the blade against it, it has been finished in the stonewash technology, which at the same time gives the knife a raw character and reduces the susceptibility to scratches, etc. The handle of the Bushglider model is made of durable, black polypropylene. The material ensures high durability and "maintenance-free", while remaining insensitive to factors such as moisture, temperature or the action of various substances.
At the very first moment, the shape of the Condor Bushglider knife brings to mind classic bushcraft constructions. A simple blade with a clip point profile is equipped with a high, flat cut, perfect for cutting. The presence of a false blade significantly increases the penetration of the tip, and the deep, transverse cuts at the beginning of the spine give a firm grip to the fingers, making the knife a useful tool also for precision work. The handle of the Bushglider model is straight contoured for maximum ergonomics of the grip. The widening of both ends of it gives a firm support to the hand, preventing the knife from slipping out of it during various works. In addition, the grip improves the deep texture of the linings, making it easier to work with, for example, a wet tool or with gloves. There is a hole at the end of the handle for a safety cable to be threaded through. The protruding tip of the knife blank can be used as a hammer, it also makes it possible to use a tool with a mallet without damaging the linings.
The Condor Bushglider is equipped with a simple polymer sheath that securely secures the blade. Thanks to it, we can conveniently carry the knife on the belt or attach it to the equipment, e.g. a backpack.
The knife made by the American brand Condor is a great proposition for all lovers of outdoor, survival and bushcraft. The Bushglider model perfectly copes with typical off-road tasks, which makes it an excellent "forest EDC". Despite its inconspicuous size, the tool is great for camp work, food preparation or everyday tasks. If you are looking for a simple knife with a fixed blade and you value high quality and simplicity, be sure to check out this product from the famous Condor company. The Bushglider model will not disappoint you.
