Black Talon II Lockback is another durable tactical knife from the American Cold Steel brand. The first version of the Black Talon model was warmly received by the fans of the manufacturer, and therefore it was decided to introduce a new, modernized version to the offer. Like its predecessor, this folder is also characterized by a very original design and the use of the highest quality materials.

The interesting shape of the head of the Black Talon II model is certainly what attracts attention at first. Talon literally means "claw" and it is to its form that the blade of the folder alludes to.

S35VN steel was used for the Cold Steel Black Talon II blade. This is an improved version of the classic S35V, which has been eagerly used for years in premium products of the best knife brands, such as Spyderco. The addition of niobium makes the steel noticeably more durable and equally resistant to wear. The S35VN also has a much finer grain structure than its predecessor. The handle is made of durable black G10 plastic. The material, which is a glass fiber laminate, is characterized by lightness, as well as very high strength and durability.

It is mainly the shape of the blade that is responsible for the characteristic, "aggressive" appearance of the Black Talon II model. The curved "claw" ends with a very penetrating tip with excellent penetrating properties. The wavy cutting edge provides excellent cutting characteristics. Compared to the first version of the knife, the handle has been significantly redesigned. The simpler, more classic shape of the prototype was replaced with a more modern, tactical grip. Clear profiling, combined with G10 texturing, ensures great grip of the knife to the hand. At the end of the handle, right next to the blade, there are clear, transverse ribs. They provide additional support for the thumb, improving the precision of work and increasing comfort for heavier tasks.

A convenient, double-sided disc is used to open the folder. The famous Tri-Ad Lock, for which the American manufacturer is famous, was used as a blockade. Thanks to this, Cold Steel Black Talon II ensures high work safety and, in principle, there is no risk of its self-assembly, even with heavier work. The knife has a convenient, double-sided clip that allows you to conveniently attach it in a pocket or on a belt. There is a hole at the end of the handle, allowing you to thread an additional securing cable.
