Cold Steel Kudu Lite is a simplified version of the iconic model from the American brand's offer. The company's products are now associated primarily with large military knives and typical off-road constructions. Cold Steel Kudu and its new version of Kudu Lite are tools inspired by classic designs used in Africa. The Lite model differs from its predecessor by using a typical "pocket knife" slipjoint lock, instead of the traditional ring-lock.
The Cold Steel Kudu Lite blade is made of 5Cr15MoV steel. This material is relatively less susceptible to corrosion. In the case of blunting, it is very easy to restore the working sharpness of the steel, making it perfect for typical off-road structures, easy to sharpen in field conditions. The handle is made of durable Zy-Ex® material. In addition to resistance to all conditions (such as humidity or temperature), the polymer also guarantees very good adhesion. The handle features polished steel decorations, strongly referring to traditional solutions.

Such a profile ensures great versatility, guaranteeing decent cutting properties and a relatively penetrating tip. On the blade, in addition to the name, there is a simplified image of the Kudu antelope, which the model owes its name to. The shape of the handle is also very simple and refers to traditional structures. Nevertheless, thanks to the characteristic bend, the knife lies firmly in the hand, even when performing heavy tasks. The texture of the handle brings to mind the grain of the wood, which further enhances the "traditional character" of the knife.
Cold Steel Kudu Lite is locked using the slipjoint lock, which is well known to pocket knife enthusiasts. Thanks to this, the model can be easily folded with one hand, which was relatively difficult using the previous version of the Kudu.
