AD-15 Lite Lockback is a high-quality folding knife made by the American company Cold Steel. The AD-15 series of folders was created in cooperation with the famous designer and knifemaker - Andrew Demko, creator of Demko Knives. Products from this line are of very high quality. Unfortunately, the use of the highest quality materials is also associated with a relatively high price of products, which makes knives not available to all users. The AD-15 Lite was created precisely as a much more affordable version of these designs.

Japanese AUS10A stainless steel was used to make the AD-15 Lite blade. In addition to high corrosion resistance, it is also characterized by high durability and good working sharpness. The blade has been finished with a satin finish, which not only affects the aesthetics of the knife, but also allows you to hide any scratches that may arise as a result of use.
The Cold Steel AD-15 handle is made of Griv-Ex®. The material is characterized by high durability. It also provides great grip, even when working with a wet tool, with gloves, etc.
The model uses a spear-point profile blade. This solution provides a relatively penetrating tip with high blade strength at the same time.
The knife has a high, flat cut, thanks to which, despite its thickness, it has excellent cutting properties. At the beginning of the spine, deep, transverse notches are used, on which, for example, you can rest your thumb during precision work. The shape of the handle combines an interesting design with high practicality. Deep finger profiles provide good support, increasing the comfort of work and safety (protecting against accidental slipping of the hand on the blade). The handle has been finished with deep texturing, which further improves the grip of the tool.
The knife is equipped with a very durable backlock lock. Compared to the original design, Andrew Demko introduced some modification by placing it directly in the grip and adding an additional pin to reduce the slack of the blade. The folder is opened with a convenient, large pin and can be successfully operated with one hand. Cold Steel AD-15 has a large, double-sided clip that allows it to be attached to the edge of a pocket or a belt. At the end, there is a hole for a securing line, or e.g. a lanyard.
