Cutjack is another interesting proposition from the American company Steel Will. As in the case of other products of the brand, the knife immediately attracts attention with its interesting design. The folder can be classified as a small, urban EDC, which, despite its dimensions, can cope with every daily task.
The top D2 steel, well known to knife lovers, was used to make the Cutjack model. Its basic features are high abrasion resistance and high cutting aggression. The popular D2 is also relatively corrosion resistant and classified as semi-stainless. A material called FRN was used for the handle. It is a glass fiber reinforced nylon, eagerly used by leading manufacturers in the industry due to its ease of production and strength.
The knife owes its characteristic shape to a handguard, which is also a flipper. In combination with quite aggressive texturing of the covers, it adds a kind of aggressiveness to the project, despite its small dimensions. Both the beginning of the spine of the blade and the backspacer of the handle are equipped with transverse ribs. They provide a solid support for the fingers, giving full control over the knife, also when we work, e.g. with sweaty hands. The classic shape of the Drop Point blade translates into great versatility of the design, and the high, flat cut ensures great cutting parameters. Cutjack is equipped with a high clip that can be mounted on both sides in the tip-up position.
Cutjack Steel Will is opened with a back flipper. This solution makes the folder open very conveniently and quickly, and "clicking" is extremely pleasant. The knife has a popular liner-lock blockade, in which the blade is mounted on a durable steel bar. There is a cable hole at the bottom of the handle.
The Cutjack model produced by the American company Steel Will is an excellent choice for an EDC knife. Very light weight (108g) and dimensions translate into high comfort of everyday wear. The great design and quality of the materials used mean that this folder can easily cope with any challenges.
