Cold Steel Steel AK-47 (58LAK) is a medium-sized folding knife, the name and its aggressive design refer to the bayonets dedicated to the famous rifle. Thanks also to good quality materials, its a very versatile and reliable tool.
The knife has a wide Drop Point-shaped blade made of high-quality AUS8-A stainless steel, which provides adequate resistance to mechanical damage, keeps sharpness well and is easy to re-sharpen. The blade has a high flat grind, which ensures excellent cutting properties.The blade has been equipped with a special plate that allows the knife to be opened quickly.
The blade itself, after unfolding, is secured with the Ultra-Lock lock, where, after opening the knife, the locking axis overlaps the rear part of the blade from above, preventing its return movement. Unlocking takes place by pulling back the locking axis, the ends of which are accessible thanks to the notches in the linings on the sides of the handle. The advantages of this type of blockade are resistance to contamination, practical insensitivity to dynamic loads, ease of use with both right and left hand and easy operation.
Properly shaped cladding of the handle is made of very light and durable aluminum, which ensures a good grip when operating a knife. At the end of the handle, there are also holes for a safety rope, which will allow you to conveniently pull the knife out of your pocket or provide additional protection for your hand while working with a knife.
