Cold Steel Outdoorsman Lite (20PHL) is a medium-sized fixed blade knife that is designed like the more high-end Outdoorsman model, but made with less expansive materials. So its a great budget knife, that will be perfect for any camping tasks.
The knife has a very durable construction, with a Drop Point-shaped head and a characteristic Scandi blade grind. Blade is made of 4034 stainless steel, which provides decent cutting properties and is very easy to sharpen, even in the field.
The handle is made of a rubber-like and very durable Kray-Ex material, which absorbs some shocks, provides a comfortable and secure grip, even with wet or dirty hands. The set also includes a high-quality sheath made of Secure-Ex polymer, which can be attached to the belt with a belt loop or attached to the TekLok buckle.
