Cold Steel Drop Forged Survivalist (36MH) is a large knife with a fixed blade, which was designed as a survival knife, therefore it is perfect for heavy camping work.

The knife has a very durable full tang construction, based on a thick, nearly 5 mm Drop Point shaped blade. The model is made of high-carbon 52100 steel, which is resistant to chipping and with this thickness of the blade it can withstand even rough treatment. Due to the high susceptibility to corrosion, the entire blade has been protected with a black protective coating.

The handle is made of a rubber-like and very durable polymer material, which provides a comfortable grip, even with wet or dirty hands. At the end of the handle there is a hole for attaching a rope loop, which will provide additional protection against accidental slipping of the hand on the blade during work. The set also includes a high-quality sheath made of Secure-Ex polymer, which can be attached to the belt with a belt loop or attached to the TekLok buckle.
