Pentagon Achilles is a line of tactical footwear that draws proven solutions known for sports and trekking boots. Thanks to this, Achilles Trekking XTR 8 " is characterized by lightness, comfort and optimal stabilization, whether during range training or all day walking.
High 8 inch upper provides good protection for the ankle and has been made using high quality suede leather and breathable nylon mesh. Additionaly the inside of the shoe has a Hydroguard® membrane, which provides water resistance and drain excess moisture from the skin surface. The two-zone shoe lacing system consists of nylon loops and metal guides in the upper part of the upper, which are interwoven with strong laces.
For the lightness and shock absorption, the inner sole is made of durable foam. While the outsole is made of rubber, and thanks to the universal tread, it gives better grip also on slippery ground. Fingers and heel protection provides an additional layer of material and a padded rubber sole.
